I try to live by these words, “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” I have slip ups and lose sight of what’s important, but I regroup and center myself around those impactful words – particularly love and kindness.

One of my hobbies over the years has been coaching youth basketball. I love seeing kids improve and engage in an activity that promotes teamwork and exercise. It is also a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of the next generation. I try hard not to focus on success but on significance.

As a dad, I hope to nurture an environment where our kids learn to be themselves and be comfortable in their own skin. Having authenticity helps us gain an appreciation and a perspective of all walks of life. We want our kids to be loving and kind to EVERYONE.

You could not ask for a more supportive, selfless family. Us kids were constantly on the go with sports, music, dance, and school events. Our parents would always carve out time from their busy work schedules so they could be there to support us. They sacrificed so much of their time, money, and energy to give us a better life and to give back to their community. We are all very close and supportive of each other.

Every summer we spend a week together making new memories.
